Livelihood Support Programs
Our Livelihood Support Programs aim to improve food security for agro-pastoralist communities. We provide seed and fodder supplies, in addition to livestock health services. Through income-generating activities, we empower community members to achieve self-sufficiency. Workshops and training sessions equip participants with essential skills in sustainable agricultural practices. Our goal is to create a resilient local economy built on healthy, productive livelihoods. Partnerships with local farmers ensure that our interventions are tailored to meet specific community needs.
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene
Our WASH initiatives focus on ensuring access to clean water and promoting sanitation practices. We implement emergency water trucking and well rehabilitation to meet immediate needs. In addition, we construct latrines to improve hygiene and health conditions, particularly for women and children. Our programs also include community education on hygiene practices to prevent disease. By integrating these efforts, we strive to reduce waterborne illnesses and enhance the overall well-being of the communities we serve.
Empowerment and Protection Services
Our Empowerment and Protection Services are designed to foster a safe environment for children and women. We implement programs that promote women’s entrepreneurship and provide training in business skills. Additionally, we address Gender-Based Violence (GBV) through awareness campaigns and support services for survivors. Our community outreach efforts educate on child rights and protection measures. We aim to create a culturally sensitive framework that empowers survivors and builds resilience against violence in our communities.
Peacebuilding and Climate Resilience
Our Peacebuilding and Climate Resilience initiatives focus on conflict management and adapting to climate change. Through social reconciliation processes, we work to foster understanding and cooperation among community members. We address climate change impacts through sustainable rangeland management and soil conservation techniques. Our programs engage community leaders and stakeholders to promote collective action. By building partnerships with local organizations, we create inclusive strategies that empower communities to adapt and thrive amidst environmental challenges.
